Table of Contents

Stefan Frädrich was born on February 26, 1972, in Aachen, grew up near Schwäbisch Hall, and is now in demand throughout Germany as a motivation expert and continuing education entrepreneur.

Education and career

In 1991, Frädrich successfully completed his high school diploma and then did his community service in a hospital. Here, his interests and talents came together, and he went on to work as a nurse until he began studying medicine at the University of Ulm, where he successfully completed his doctorate in 2000. The topic of his doctoral thesis was the prevalence of personality disorders among prisoners.

During this time, Stefan Frädrich tried his hand at presenting and acting, gaining experience at all kinds of events. A total of ten years of medical training and working in the field, with a focus on psycho- and behavioral therapy, finally made it clear to him that a change was needed.

This was followed by a move into the private sector—more specifically, to the management of a medium-sized textile trading company. It was a U-turn, but one that took him forward and brought with it experience in business administration and sales. In 2003, Frädrich finally took the plunge into self-employment as a coach.

Today

Today, Stefan Frädrich works as a successful trainer, coach, and consultant specializing in motivation, leadership, communication, and health. He lives with his wife and son in Cologne and is the author of several books as well as a presenter for events of all kinds. As an entrepreneur, he founded the Cologne-based company GEDANKENtanken in 2012, which has set itself the task of "making personal development accessible to everyone."

His character—Günter, the inner pig—can now be found as a stuffed animal or on postcards and mugs. Originally launched as a single coaching book, you can now follow the inner pig through a whole series of adventures. Cheeky drawings underscore the emotional message. Stefan Frädrich can still be booked today for his lecture "The Günter Principle."

When Frädrich is not working as a coach and entrepreneur, he also teaches at the Düsseldorf Academy for Marketing Communication.
