The company

Testo is a multiple award-winning global market leader in measurement technology. Around 3,500 employees work for Testo worldwide. In the 2022 fiscal year, the company generated sales of 426.9 million euros.

The standstill

Despite economic success and attractive jobs, previous measures to increase employee identification with the company have so far come to nothing. This was reflected in high staff turnover, a lack of attractiveness as an employer, and low appeal to future top performers. A measurement of employee satisfaction using eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) yielded the corresponding results.

The tailor-made solution

The Leading-Simple© concept was initially implemented at Testo over a period of twelve months—with seminars, one-on-one implementation discussions, and independent learning units in our online learning environment. A total of 125 leader have undergone leader cultural transformation process to date. Due to its ongoing success, the project will be continued.

Growth

The eNPS measurement result increased by more than 47 points within nine months. This led to corresponding improvements in responsibility, Result Orientation, economic success, and attractiveness as an employer.

The company

Approximately 6,400 employees ensure that around 50,000 patients receive inpatient treatment in 29 clinics and 15 institutes (1,274 beds) each year. In addition, there are around 300,000 outpatient cases. This makes Ulm University Hospital the maximum care provider for the regions of East Württemberg, Danube/Iller, and Lake Constance-Upper Swabia.

The standstill

As part of a restructuring measure to reduce costs, a rift developed between the hospital board and the senior physicians. Mistrust and recriminations made constructive planning for the future impossible. The senior medical director and chairman of the board, Professor Dr. Udo X. Kaisers, decided to work with the Grundl Leadership Institute on the basis of a recommendation.

The tailor-made solution

During the initial analysis, it quickly became clear that, due to their high level of expertise, the participating professors would only follow an authentic personality with a very well-thought-out concept. After a joint decision-making phase, they agreed on Leading Simple© and Boris Grundl.
