With this blog post, we would like to invite you to a very special event on September 18, 2018. On this day, Boris Grundl will be giving his lecture "The Magic of Change"for the charity event organized by the Rotary Clubs of Tuttlingen, Hohenkarpfen-Tuttlingen, and Donaueschingen.
End Polio Now: Rotary's fight against polio
The largest project Rotary has ever undertaken in its 113-year history — the fight against polio — is called PolioPlus and is nearing its goal: since 1988, with the help of powerful partners such as the World Health Organization, massive vaccination campaigns have succeeded in ridding most of the world of polio. Thanks to the great progress made in recent years, the goal of eradicating polio worldwide by the end of 2018 is within reach.
Your donation helps
The €29 admission fee for the event on September 18 will be donated in full to the End Polio Now project. What's more, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match the proceeds dollar for dollar. One ticket will pay for 193 vaccine doses. A toddler needs three vaccine doses at intervals of a few weeks. This means that your donation will protect 64 children from polio. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to see Boris Grundl live and learn how much change processes can empower people.
About the lecture – The Magic of Change
We encounter change everywhere. In today's working world, people are forced to adapt quickly to changing market conditions, even if this involves major personal change. This pressure to change is quickly perceived as a personal crisis.
But what is important if we want to overcome crises? Boris Grundl reveals the secret of inner growth and makes it clear: crises are nothing more than problems that grow and intensify if we do not face them. We always have the freedom to change our lives. But when these changes become compulsory, they rob us of precisely this freedom.
Know or be able to?
From pure knowledge to valuable self-confidence
Boris Grundl explains in a charismatic way how you can unleash the magic of change for yourself and others. In everything you do, always ask yourself: Do I know it or can I do it? Knowing means understanding. Curiosity is the desire to learn new things, without any interest in putting what you have learned into practice. Being able to do something, on the other hand, means acting. This is about depth.
Transform yourself from a superficial sprinkler magnifying glass effectiveness. Work consistently on the four control buttons: goals, self-confidence, knowledge, and experience. Interpret results yourself and lead yourself and others to true greatness.
Take control of your future and internalize the phrase: If you really want something, be prepared to pay the price for it.
