Some people just seem to have everything come easily to them. You probably know someone like that. Whatever they set their mind to, they succeed at. They join top companies and quickly rise to the highest management positions. They surround themselves with talented people—and achieve the best results. And you ask yourself: How do they do it? And how can I succeed like that?
The answer lies in human transformation—a learnable skill that we need now more than ever. Not only to develop ourselves in life, but also as a basis for agility, enabling us to adapt quickly to the ever-changing conditions of our world. This is the only way to achieve growth and the best results.
Some experts believe that transformation in humans is triggered either by an "unsolvable dilemma" (crisis) or by a "prolonged experience of meaning" (deep insight). Both are difficult. Yet human transformation has never been more important than it is today.
So that you don't have to wait for a crisis to happen, ask yourself, "What was I made for?" This is not so easy, because the search for meaning in our actions is also a search for ourselves. To do this, we must acknowledge our personality and forgive ourselves—only then can we achieve a greater impact. However, we encounter a significant obstacle here, namely our image.
The path to our true selves is paved with distinctions—for example, between social desirability, our image, and our true selves. Once you recognize this difference, you are already halfway to achieving greater impact.
We often confuse our image with our true selves, but as long as we remain stuck there, we block real growth—we surround ourselves with people who validate us and avoid critical engagement with others and ourselves.
If you notice a discrepancy between these sides of yourself, then you probably already know how exhausting it can be to live according to social expectations or be stuck in an image—and to slow down your personal transformation.
Have you ever questioned your everyday actions? Do you know what corresponds to your inner core—and what doesn't, and why? Have you ever asked yourself what you were made for? Each time you go through this process, it will become easier for you to find the right mindset and achieve increasingly effective results.
